Adult Welding Technology

There are two programs offered for adult welding technology, a class for beginning welders with little or no experience in welding technology, and an individually-based Step-Up Program designed for those wishing to upgrade their skills or obtain certification. The length and cost of the program will be determined on the content and pace of individual.

This is a class designed for adults who have some welding experience and are looking to improve their skills, learn new techniques, or receive AWS certifications. Participants in this class will be individually assessed as to their existing abilities, and a custom program will be designed to meet the goals and needs of each student. The number of hours of instruction will depend on such assessment. The class will meet two times each week for four hours each session, and at the conclusion of each student’s participation, they may submit sample welding coupons for AWS certification.
